INTRODUCTION

"Yeshuat Tsion" means both "salvation of Zion" and "salvation to Zion." That encapsulates our vision. We are committed to conveying that salvation for mankind has come from Zion (Israel). And we are committed to seeing to it that salvation is brought to Zion (proclaimed among Jewish people).

That same message is expressed in our logo - a man blowing a shofar (ram's horn) in front of the Kotel in Jerusalem. A major occasion when the shofar was blown was Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) proclaiming the beginning of the year of Jubilee. The year of Jubilee was a time when slaves went free and debts were canceled. This became a potent symbol of the Messianic Age, when spiritual debt would be forgiven and debt caused by sin would be canceled.

Yeshua embraced this as His mission as He spoke on a Shabbat in the synagogue in His home town of Nazareth (Luke 4:18-19):

Salvation has come and it is available through Messiah Yeshua.
