Our devotion to Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) does not invalidate our need to follow G-d's timeless principles spelled out in the Torah. Yeshua stated, "I did not come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete.," (Matthew 5:17), and again, " If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15).

The fact that He fulfilled the Torah does not mean that it is irrelevant to us. On the contrary, the Torah and the rest of Scriptures are invaluable for sound, godly living (2 Timothy 3:16).   We seek to be Torah-friendly but not Torah obsessive (consumed with a legalistic devotion to minutiae; Matthew 23:24).
